Podczas zawodów LOTTO Challenge Gdańsk 2026 odniosła spektakularne zwycięstwo na dystansie średnim PRO, przekraczając linię mety z imponującym czasem 4:07:43. Co szczególnie wyjątkowe, gdańszczanka triumfowała przed własną publicznością, realizując jedno ze swoich największych sportowych marzeń.

Wyzwanie na wymagającej trasie
LOTTO Challenge Gdańsk to jedna z najbardziej prestiżowych imprez triathlonowych w Polsce. Zawodnicy rywalizowali na dystansie średnim obejmującym łącznie 113 kilometrów:
1,9 km pływania w wodach Morza Bałtyckiego przy molo w Brzeźnie,
90 km jazdy na rowerze prowadzącej w kierunku Żuław i Wyspy Sobieszewskiej,
21 km biegu, czyli półmaratonu rozgrywanego w malowniczym Parku Reagana.
Tegoroczna edycja dodatkowo postawiła przed uczestnikami niezwykle trudne wyzwanie. Zawody odbywały się w bardzo wymagających, niemal tropikalnych warunkach pogodowych. Wysokie temperatury i duża wilgotność powietrza sprawiały, że odpowiednie zarządzanie tempem oraz nawodnieniem było kluczowe dla osiągnięcia sukcesu.

Many cyclists type this legendary question into Google: how to dress for cycling in 10 degrees Celsius (or 15)? Our observations show that most of them then make a fundamental mistake. Either they freeze in summer clothes, or they hit the road dressed like the Michelin Man.
A traditional, summer cycling jersey is simply too thin in March or April, while a typical spring cycling hoodie can be too cumbersome when your heart rate goes up.
That's why we created the AllRoad line.

Polish Spring Cycling: How to Survive Temperature Swings from 3°C to 17°C?
Jelenia Góra can be full of surprises. One day you wake up to 3°C, frost on cars, and grey, damp air, only to be cycling in full sun at 17°C a week later. For a cyclist, such a range is a logistical challenge. The key to comfort isn't one "thick jacket," but a precisely chosen layering system that allows you to react to conditions on the fly.
1. Base Layer: The Foundation of Thermoregulation
In spring, the battle is about moisture wicking. Even at low temperatures, climbing the Przesieka will generate a lot of heat. If sweat stays on your skin, you'll quickly get cold on the descent. A technical undershirt under your cycling jersey is standard – its purpose is to transport moisture away, leaving your skin dry.
2. Mid-Layer: Longsleeve or Fleece?
Here comes the most interesting solution for the transitional period. If a standard fleece is too warm for you, and a short-sleeved jersey irritates you by rolling up, the ideal choice is a longsleeve (e.g., from the Allroad series).
It's a hybrid that combines the lightness of a classic jersey with arm protection. It provides better aerodynamics and uniform thermal comfort along the entire length of the arms. At 10-15 degrees, it's the perfect set – protecting against cold airflow but not allowing overheating during intense training.
3. Vest: A Technical Shield for Every Scenario
In cycling, a vest is a "safety net." At Quest, we focus on two specific solutions that each of us should have in our pocket:
Venture Vest: Ultra-light, packable "windbreaker." Ideal when it's cold in the morning, and you know it will end up in your pocket after an hour.
Toca: A more robust option with a membrane that protects the chest from icy wind (windchill). Indispensable for long descents in the Karkonosze mountains, where the temperature drops sharply with altitude.
4. Bottoms: Knee Protection and Leg Thermals
At temperatures around 3-5 degrees, there's no room for compromise – we choose long-legged pants. They protect large muscle groups and joints from freezing.
However, when the thermometer shows around 10 degrees, we switch to a modular system: our standard cycling shorts with suspenders + leg warmers. This is the most flexible set. If the sun starts to shine more intensely, the leg warmers go into your pocket, and your legs get the necessary ventilation.

Kacper is the best-performing Polish triathlete of 2024 and still on the rise in the world rankings. After securing a T100 wildcard spot, he raced Ibiza and Singapore to end the year ranked #21 on the T100 Tour. He also raced the Ironman World Championship, finishing 14th on debut
Having set the Polish record in the Ironman 70.3 distance at Warsaw in 2023, he is coming into the prime of his long-course racing years. He will be focused on T100 and Ironman racing, with the winning culture of Bahrain Victorious 13 helping elevate his performances going into the World Championships.

Pockets in cycling clothing are a small detail that makes a huge difference in practice. When properly packed, they can save a training session, a long trip, or a competition. When used incorrectly, they can be irritating, disruptive, and detrimental to comfort. So what's worth carrying in them, and what's better left at home?
What is worth having in your pockets?
The basics are food – bars, energy gels, or dried fruit. Ideally, something that's easy to reach with one hand. Another must-have is your phone , tucked into a central or zippered pocket, preferably in an additional case that protects against sweat and rain.
It's also worth carrying a small pump or CO₂ cartridges , an inner tube , and tire levers , especially on longer trips. On colder days, a lightweight vest or arm warmers that can be quickly removed and stowed away without stopping are great. Keys (preferably on a small carabiner) and tissues or a small buff are also useful.
What is better not to wear?
Avoid heavy and rigid items that might bump against your back or cause discomfort – it's best to leave large power banks, wallets, or workshop-grade tool kits in your saddlebag or car. Loose items that could fall out on bumps are also a bad idea.
It's also a good idea not to overload the pockets – too much weight causes the shirt or sweatshirt to sag and the material loses its properties. Comfort and aerodynamics quickly suffer.
Pockets adapted to the season
In summer, lightness and accessibility are key; in winter, safety and stability are key. That's why zippered pockets are becoming increasingly common in cycling vests and jerseys, perfect for challenging conditions.
