Polska wiosna na rowerze: Dlaczego koszulka kolarska z długim rękawem AllRoad to Twój nowy „game changer”?

Polish spring on a bike: Why the AllRoad long-sleeve cycling jersey is your new "game changer"?

on Apr 01 2026
Do you know that classic spring scenario? You look out the window – the sun is shining like crazy. You think: "Aha, short sleeves it is!" You step outside, and a brisk wind mercilessly brings you back to reality. Do you put on a thick jacket? After the first serious climb, you'll be cooking in your own juices. Polish spring is a real testing ground for cyclists. As a brand that cut its teeth on sewing apparel in the Karkonosze Mountains (where the weather can change five times during one training session), we'll tell you straight: the key to survival is conscious layering (cycling teaches humility in this regard faster than any other sport). Today, we'll step into the role of your cycling mentor and present you with the ideal solution. How to dress for cycling in 10-15 degrees Celsius? Choose wisely Many cyclists type this legendary question into Google: how to dress for cycling in 10 degrees Celsius (or 15)? Our observations show that most of them then make a fundamental mistake. Either they freeze in summer clothes, or they hit the road dressed like the Michelin Man. A traditional, summer cycling jersey is simply too thin in March or April, while a typical spring cycling hoodie can be too cumbersome when your heart rate goes up. That's why we created the AllRoad line. Our long-sleeve cycling jersey (longsleeve) is a thoroughbred hybrid. It's neither too thin nor too thick. It acts like a thermal shield – retaining the heat generated by your body, but also brilliantly "breathing". This is that mythical sweet spot you're looking for when wondering which cycling jersey is best for spring. What to wear under a cycling jersey to stay warm and not sweat? As textile experts, we must warn you about something. Even the most technologically advanced long-sleeve cycling jersey will not work correctly if you wear a... cotton t-shirt underneath. Cotton is a sponge – it absorbs sweat, holds it against your skin, and guarantees that the first descent will chill you to the bone. If you're looking for an answer to the question of what to wear under a cycling jersey, there's only one solution: Base Layer (Undershirt): Specialized, synthetic cycling underwear. Its sole purpose is to quickly wick moisture away from the skin to the next layer. Main Layer: Our AllRoad longsleeve. It disperses moisture and maintains optimal muscle temperature. Emergency Layer (in your pocket): A light windbreaker or vest in case of sudden rain or a long descent. We have a tip for you: For a crisp, spring morning, combine the AllRoad jersey with a short-sleeve base layer. This combination is unbeatable. AllRoad loves gravel. Discover the perfect gravel jersey The name of our series didn't come out of nowhere. Spring is the perfect time to get off the asphalt and escape the wind into the forest. If your passion is off-road, AllRoad is practically a textbook gravel jersey and for MTB marathons. Why? Because we used Italian fabrics with a denser weave. They are much more resistant to snagging on branches or bushes than ultra-thin road materials. Plus, the looser, yet still sporty cut makes you look and feel great in it – whether you're fighting for a KOM or leisurely rolling to a cafe. Details that make a difference (Small Details. Big Performance) When designing the AllRoad series, we didn't forget about the details that you only appreciate after 50 kilometers in the saddle: Deep pockets with a stabilizing band: No more "sagging bag" effect when you fill them with gels, a tube, and your phone. Silicone grip at the bottom: The jersey stays in place, and your lower back is safe from drafts. YKK zipper with lock: You can unzip it with one hand on a climb, and it won't slide down a millimeter further than you want. Summary: Don't fear spring! Instead of waiting for June heatwaves, get your cycling wardrobe sorted now. A set consisting of cycling underwear and an AllRoad long-sleeve jersey will allow you to enjoy every kilometer, regardless of whether the sun is shining or there's a headwind. See you on the road!

Beautiful Polish spring – how to dress for cycling and not go crazy?

on Mar 26 2026
Polish Spring Cycling: How to Survive Temperature Swings from 3°C to 17°C? Jelenia Góra can be full of surprises. One day you wake up to 3°C, frost on cars, and grey, damp air, only to be cycling in full sun at 17°C a week later. For a cyclist, such a range is a logistical challenge. The key to comfort isn't one "thick jacket," but a precisely chosen layering system that allows you to react to conditions on the fly. 1. Base Layer: The Foundation of Thermoregulation In spring, the battle is about moisture wicking. Even at low temperatures, climbing the Przesieka will generate a lot of heat. If sweat stays on your skin, you'll quickly get cold on the descent. A technical undershirt under your cycling jersey is standard – its purpose is to transport moisture away, leaving your skin dry. 2. Mid-Layer: Longsleeve or Fleece? Here comes the most interesting solution for the transitional period. If a standard fleece is too warm for you, and a short-sleeved jersey irritates you by rolling up, the ideal choice is a longsleeve (e.g., from the Allroad series). It's a hybrid that combines the lightness of a classic jersey with arm protection. It provides better aerodynamics and uniform thermal comfort along the entire length of the arms. At 10-15 degrees, it's the perfect set – protecting against cold airflow but not allowing overheating during intense training. 3. Vest: A Technical Shield for Every Scenario In cycling, a vest is a "safety net." At Quest, we focus on two specific solutions that each of us should have in our pocket: Venture Vest: Ultra-light, packable "windbreaker." Ideal when it's cold in the morning, and you know it will end up in your pocket after an hour. Toca: A more robust option with a membrane that protects the chest from icy wind (windchill). Indispensable for long descents in the Karkonosze mountains, where the temperature drops sharply with altitude. 4. Bottoms: Knee Protection and Leg Thermals At temperatures around 3-5 degrees, there's no room for compromise – we choose long-legged pants. They protect large muscle groups and joints from freezing. However, when the thermometer shows around 10 degrees, we switch to a modular system: our standard cycling shorts with suspenders + leg warmers. This is the most flexible set. If the sun starts to shine more intensely, the leg warmers go into your pocket, and your legs get the necessary ventilation. Cheat Sheet: Polish Spring Kit Configuration Temperature Top (Layers) Bottom (Set) Key Element 3 - 7°C (Cold/Dreary) Base layer + Jersey + Fleece + Toca Vest Long-legged pants Full insulation and chest protection 8 - 13°C (Variable) Base layer + Allroad Longsleeve + Vest Shorts + Leg warmers Mobility and hybrid layer 14 - 17°C+ (Sunny) Base layer + Jersey + Venture Vest Cycling shorts (short) Lightness and wind protection   Summary Spring cycling is an art of adaptation. When choosing your attire, think about where you'll be in two hours – at the top of a climb or in the shade of a valley. Check out our suggestions at questsport.cc and assemble a kit that will make "grey Poland" no excuse to stay home.

Kieszonki w koszulkach, kamizelkach i bluzach kolarskich – co warto w nich mieć, a czego lepiej unikać?

Pockets in cycling jerseys, vests and sweatshirts – what's worth having in them and what's better to avoid?

on Jan 26 2026
Pockets in cycling clothing are a small detail that makes a huge difference in practice. When properly packed, they can save a training session, a long trip, or a competition. When used incorrectly, they can be irritating, disruptive, and detrimental to comfort. So what's worth carrying in them, and what's better left at home? What is worth having in your pockets? The basics are food – bars, energy gels, or dried fruit. Ideally, something that's easy to reach with one hand. Another must-have is your phone , tucked into a central or zippered pocket, preferably in an additional case that protects against sweat and rain. It's also worth carrying a small pump or CO₂ cartridges , an inner tube , and tire levers , especially on longer trips. On colder days, a lightweight vest or arm warmers that can be quickly removed and stowed away without stopping are great. Keys (preferably on a small carabiner) and tissues or a small buff are also useful. What is better not to wear? Avoid heavy and rigid items that might bump against your back or cause discomfort – it's best to leave large power banks, wallets, or workshop-grade tool kits in your saddlebag or car. Loose items that could fall out on bumps are also a bad idea. It's also a good idea not to overload the pockets – too much weight causes the shirt or sweatshirt to sag and the material loses its properties. Comfort and aerodynamics quickly suffer. Pockets adapted to the season In summer, lightness and accessibility are key; in winter, safety and stability are key. That's why zippered pockets are becoming increasingly common in cycling vests and jerseys, perfect for challenging conditions. Well-packed pockets mean less stress on the trail and more pure riding pleasure. After all, cycling is about having everything at hand—and nothing unnecessarily weighing you down.
Jacaranda – kolor, który oczaruje sezon 2026

Jacaranda – the color that will enchant the 2026 season

on Oct 15 2025
Subtle, slightly romantic, and completely unconventional – that's Jacaranda , the color that will dominate our collection in 2026. Inspired by the delicate purple of the flower of the same name, it combines elegance and freshness, while allowing you to play with style and composition like never before. When paired with chocolate brown, it gains depth and warmth, with white , it becomes light and pure, and with classic black, it creates a duo that delights with its simplicity and strength of contrast. It's a color that can be both a subtle backdrop and the main character of a styling. What we're showcasing in the upcoming season surprises even ourselves. We love playing with color and are constantly discovering new facets of it. Join us on a new adventure with the Jacaranda color – already in the 2026 collection, also available from our distributors.
